Introduction

I started writing asp2php back in 1998 as one of the very first programs I put on the Internet for people to download. The idea was this program could convert Microsoft Active Server Pages (ASP) written with VB6 to PHP pages that can be served from Apache on Linux/Unix servers. This program is pretty useless these days since there probably aren't any VB6 websites still around, so I'm just putting this page up for historical purposes. The code itself, being one of my first programs I put online, is pretty awful looking, but I think for the most part it worked okay.
